The “Jelena Šantić” Foundation, with the support of the Balkans Trust for Democracy (BTD) and the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of the Government of the Republic of Serbia (SIPRU), is issuing a call for the second cycle of support, as part of the programme “Brave Steps Forward in New Cultural Practices” intended for civil society organizations.
The “Jelena Šantić” Foundation believes culture to be an inseparable part of a healthy, democratic and successful society. It endeavours for culture and art to be an option for every individual, therefore this call focuses on projects that utilize creative and innovative ways to:
- Open possibilities, contribute to the integration of vulnerable groups and build an inclusive society of equal opportunities,
- Strengthen civic participation, enable people to actively participate in the lives of their communities,
- Promote culture as an integrative part of social development,
- Stimulate broader social changes in local communities through the inclusive role of cultural and artistic practices.
Present your best idea, showing that strength and courage for change arise from the cooperation of dedicated individuals.
The deadline for the submission of project ideas is 5 December 2016.
