Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

Assistant Minister for European Integration in the Government of the Republic of Serbia Branko Budimir and the Director of the Directorate for Western Balkans, DG Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations Genoveva Ruiz Calavera have signed an Agreement on EU support for the educational system of Serbia on 27 September in Brussels.

The signing of this agreement, whereby the European Union allocated EUR 27.4 million in grants to support the reform of the educational system in Serbia, was attended by the Minister for European Integration Jadranka Joksimović and the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.

The acquired funds will be aimed at harmonizing the educational system in Serbia with the needs of the labour market, improving the expertise of the teaching staff and aid for the education of the most vulnerable minority communities in the country.
