Foundation “Ana and Vlade Divac” – Competition for Student Scholarships for the 2018/2019 School Year (Deadline: 17/8/2018)

Fondacija "Ana i Vlade Divac" - logoThe Foundation “Ana and Vlade Divac”, in cooperation with a donor group from the USA, is announcing a competition awarding scholarships to students who are enrolling in 2018 in the first, second, third or fourth grade of secondary schools in the Republic of Serbia, in line with the pre-determined conditions.

Eligible to receive scholarships are students who will enrol in September 2018 in the first, second, third or fourth grade of a secondary school founded by the Republic of Serbia, autonomous province or a local self-government unit, and who receive highest grades and demonstrate excellent discipline, with at least one parent/guardian with a refugee status in the Republic of Serbia who was a refugee from one of following municipalities from the Republic of Croatia: Benkovac, Vojnić, Vrginmost, Glina, Gračac, Dvor, Donji Lapac, Drniš, Knin, Korenica, Kostajnica, Krnjak, Obrovac, Petrinja, Plaški, Slunj, Zadar, Caprag, Grubišno Polje, Daruvar, Okučani, Pakrac, Slatina, Beli Manastir, Vukovar, Dalj, Mirkovci, Tenja.

All secondary school first, second, third and fourth-grade students who have grade point average of 4.50 to 5.00 can apply for a scholarship, with the condition that one or both parents/guardians have proof that they were refugees from the previously mentioned municipalities. Special priority in the process of awarding scholarships will be given to candidates from vulnerable social groups (financially vulnerable families, single-parent families, persons with disabilities, child/parent with chronic illness).
