Open Call for the Selection of Serbian Youth Delegates to the United Nations (Deadline: 12/8/2018)

UN_serbian_youth_delegate_logoThe United Nations Association of Serbia is implementing the project for the selection of two youth delegates to the UN, in line with the principles of gender equality. The selection will be performed through an open call and according to defined criteria. The duration of the mandate is one year.

After several years of advocating for it, the project was established in 2017 in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Serbia. Partners of the project in 2018 are Youth Association “Novi Sad European Youth Capital – OPENS” and National Youth Office.

Young people from 18 to 28 years old, who are citizens of the Republic of Serbia, residing on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, who have active knowledge of the English language, a good knowledge of youth policy in Serbia and the United Nations system, who have previous youth activism experience, achieve success in education and regularly fulfil their school obligations,  have achieved results in extracurricular activities, as well as have other achievements important for the youth delegates to the UN programme, may apply to the Call.

After submitting the completed online Application Form, interested candidates need to send their current CV (maximum two pages) to unyouthdelegate@unaserbia.rs.

The Call is opened until 12 August 2018.
