Provincial Institute for Gender Equality has announced the Public Call for Awarding Grants to Married Couples on the AP Vojvodina Territory for Buying Rural Houses and Land.

The total amount which will be awarded through this public call is RSD 43 million.

The objectives of the public call are:

• promoting the development of rural areas
• revitalization and rejuvenation of villages in Vojvodina through increasing the birth rate and the number of children living there
• initiating the process of improving the demographic structure as a precondition for economic development
• increasing the number of women who own real estate.

Eligible to apply are:

• Spouses whose marital union has been lasting at least a year
• Common law marriage partners in a lasting union, the duration has to be in line with the Law.

The deadline for application is 30 September 2017.
