Public call for selection of expert teams to support participation of Serbia in EU OMC theme groups in the area of education and training

open - ilustracijaThe Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia publike Srbije is publishing a public call for selection of members of expert teams for support to participation of the Republic of Serbia in theme groups of Open Method of Coordination (OMC) of the EU in the area of education and science.

The representatives of the Republic of Serbia were invited by the European Commission to take part in the work of the Open Method of Coordination (OMC) in education and training at the EU level in six theme working groups:

  1.  School policies with a focus on dropout of pupils from education and education of teachers,
  2.  Secondary vocational education and training,
  3.  Development of cross-sectional competencies with a focus on ICT and entrepreneurial learning,
  4.  Adult education and
  5.  Digital and online learning.

The expert teams will be formed in support for each of the above theme groups with the following tasks:

  • Provision of support in preparation of the representatives of Serbia for participation in the theme groups (ensuring relevant information and data, etc.);
  • Offering proposals and recommendations to decision-makers with a view to improving the above areas on the basis of data and facts and in line with the EU policies and best practices;
  • Offering proposals and recommendations to the process of planning and programming bilateral and multilateral programmes;
  • Participation on expert meetings, panels, conferences, etc.;
  • Other activities in accordance with the theme group plans.
