On December 30, Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Policy of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vulin, stated that during 2015, 4.575 persons with disabilities had been employed, thus, the best result concerning their employment had been achieved.
During his visit to the Centre for Professional Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities “Stil” in Zrenjanin, Mr Vulin stated that based on the National Employment Service database, from this number, 1.758 women had received an opportunity to work in these types of protective workshops.
At the same time, the Minister invited companies to always keep one part of their public procurement for companies that employ persons with disabilities.
He noted that, in 2015, the Ministry allocated more that 700 million dinars, for different types of incentives for protective workshops that employ persons with disabilities.
