The University in Belgrade, as the largest and oldest higher education institution in the Republic of Serbia, is investing considerable efforts to provide its students with quality education, prepare them for individual professional and/or scientific-research work, form capable and responsible individuals to contribute to the development and progress of society as a whole.

The goal of the University, as a socially responsible higher education institution, is to provide equal opportunities for education to all persons, regardless of race, sex or sexual orientation, ethnic and national affiliation, social origin and economic standing, language, religion, political belief, status at birth or disability.
