Published 05.09.2015.

Following the great success of Serbia in the first term for submitting projects under the youth component of the Erasmus+ programme, the Executive Agency from Brussels (EACEA) issued the second call for organizations and institutions from Serbia and the Balkans to submit projects within Key Activity 2 (KA2). Capacity building in working with youth – Youth window for Western Balkans. Projects within capacity building in working with youth are transnational projects, based on multilateral partnerships between organizations and institutions active in the field of education and training, working with youth, as well as other socio-economic sectors – in programme and partner countries, aiming to:

  • Stimulate cooperation and exchange in the field of working with youth, among programme and partner countries from across the world;
  • Improving quality and recognizing youth labour, informal study and volunteerism in partner countries, as well as stimulating synergies between theirs and educational systems, the labour market, and associations from other countries;
  • Stimulating development, testing and placement of activities and mobility programmes for informal study at the regional level (i.e. within and between various regions worldwide);
  • Promoting transnational mobility programmes for informal study, between programme and partner countries, particularly those involving youth from marginalized groups, with an emphasis on improving the competencies of students and stimulating their active participation in society.
