This year for the first time, Preševo Municipality will organise a public debate with citizens and the municipality budget beneficiaries before the budget is adopted. On October 17, the cabinet of the Mayor Šćiprim Arifi announced that the debate should help improve the quality of the budget and make it more transparent than before.

People invited to participate in the public debate were directors of public institutions, primary and secondary school principals, local self-government officials, representatives of civil society organisations and political parties, representatives of local businesses, youth and student organisations, as well as citizens of Preševo.

The public debate will last from Monday until Sunday (October 17 – 22), it will be held at the premises of the Municipality and the Cultural Centre in Preševo.
