At the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign and Domestic Trade and Telecommunications, the Government adopted an Action Plan for Open Administration supported by ICT on 25 April. This is within the framework of Serbia’s accession to the 2013 Open Government Partnership.

The Action Plan defines the main objectives and guidelines for improvement of public administration and enhancement of its transparency.

One of the important items in the Action Plan is establishment of mechanisms of cooperation between the civil society and NGOs with the state in the process of development of open government.

Open Government Partnership (OGP) is the initiative aimed at ensuring support and increased engagement of governments.
