The Embassy of Canada is issuing a call for submissions for the Canada Fund.
The Canada Fund finances small projects which enhance the democratic, economic, cultural, and social life of the people of Serbia.
This year, the Canada Fund will support projects closely aligned with one or several of the following priorities:
- Championing inclusive and accountable governance, peaceful pluralism and respect for diversity, and human rights
- Promoting gender equality and empowerment of women and girls
- Promoting stability and security
Projects selected for funding will have to demonstrate long-term self-sustainability, high visibility and stress gender equality. All project activities must be completed by February 2, 2017.
Please note that each year the Embassy receives a vast number of applications while the Canada Fund can support only a very limited number of projects. Therefore, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
The maximum contribution from the Canada Fund for one project will be approximately CAD $25,000. Proposals which do not clearly state how they meet the above criteria will not be considered.
The deadline for submitting proposals is July 3, 2016. The proposal should be submitted by email only in .doc or .docx format to:
