The Government of the Republic of Serbia adopted the Action Plan for the Implementation of the Open Government Partnership Initiative in the Republic of Serbia for 2016 and 2017 at its session held on 17 November 2016.

The new Action Plan contains 14 measures and represents the result of the work of a special interministerial working group for drafting the second Action Plan, consultative meetings with civil society organizations and a three-week period of public consultation. Within the 14 adopted measures public participation is represented under 5 measures, access to information with 2 measures, open data also with 2 measures, government integrity with only 1 measure, fiscal transparency and public services with 2 measures each.
