The Office for Cooperation with Civil Society of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, as the national contact point for the European Commission programme “Europe for Citizens” in Serbia, and the Belgrade Open School are organising the regional conference “Move.Link.Engage. The Enlargement: A Brand Old Story” on 13 and 14 September 2018 in Belgrade. The Conference is organised with the support of the “Europe for Citizens” programme and the Embassy of Sweden.
The aim of the Conference is to promote and encourage a regional approach to solving common social issues, particularly through the EU programme “Europe for Citizens”, which is one of the most important instruments that may be used to strengthen the cooperation of regional actors. The Conference also aims to contribute to the improvement of European integration reforms implemented in the region by strengthening the involvement of CSOs and the media.
On the first day of the Conference, a workshop will be organized where CSOs from Serbia and the region can network and get to know one another. The participants will be divided into several working groups and they will work on developing project ideas within the “Europe for Citizens” programme. This way, participants will have the opportunity to become acquainted with the key aspects of this EU programme, as well as with the process of developing project applications within the programme. They will also be able to establish partnerships with colleagues from the region.
Representatives of civil society organizations are invited to actively participate in the mentioned workshop and the rest of the Conference. They are also invited to fill in the application form.
The completed application forms should be sent before 13 August 2018, 15.00 hrs. to jelena.todorovic@civilnodrustvo.gov.rs marked “Application for the Conference Move.Link.Engage 2018”.
