ASTRA is a local non-governmental organisation dedicated to the eradication of all forms of human trafficking, especially women and children, as well as an efficient search for missing children by establishing the institutional and individual response and strengthen the civil society. The SOS Hotline for victims of human trafficking was launched in February 2002, and it is still the only SOS hotline specialized for providing support to the victims of human trafficking.
ASTRA is announcing an Open Call for female volunteers who would, after they have completed the training, volunteer on the SOS Hotline and deal directly with victims of human trafficking and other types of gender-based violence.
Conditions of volunteering: After the initial training, practical three-month training is required which would be followed by the volunteer engagement.
Qualifications: female Humanities graduates and final year students (psychology, pedagogy, andragogy, social work, defectology, etc.), as well as female Law graduates and final year students.
