On 25 September, the Republic Statistical Office stated that the average wages paid in August this year amounted to RSD 62,992 which is by 1% higher relative to the average monthly wages paid in the preceding month and by 1.2% higher in real terms. As compared to the same month last year, this sum is nominally higher by 1.9 % and by 0.4 % in real terms.

The average wages excluding taxes and contributions paid in August 2014 amounted to RSD 45,610, whereby compared to the average wages excluding taxes and contributions paid in July this year it was nominally higher by 0.9 % and by 1.1 % in real terms. Compared to the average wages excluding taxes and contributions paid in August 2013, the August average wages excluding taxes and contributions this year was nominally higher by 1.9% and by 0.4% in real terms.
