The Office for Youth and Cooperation with Associations of the City Administration of the City of Belgrade, celebrating the Human Rights Day, held a final conference as part of the educational campaigns jointly entitled “Youth Safety in Schools”.
Nikola Rajičić, Deputy Head of the Office for Youth and Cooperation with Associations, presented 311 certificates and t-shirts to secondary school students having successfully completed peer educator trainings for the issues: “Gender Equality”, “Either Drink or Drive!”, and “No To Hate Speech!”, along with 35 diplomas for secondary schools from the territory of the City of Belgrade having participated in educational campaigns and trainers who implemented 12 trainings and 35 lectures for secondary school students, aiming to improve youth safety culture in traffic, suppressing hate speech among youth and improving gender equality and reproductive health for women.
Youth education was implemented based on surveyed behaviour patterns, habits, attitudes and interests of youth in Serbia within areas identified by the National Youth Strategy (2015-2025) and based on the Recommendations from the Guidelines for the Inclusion of Safety in Local Action Plans for Youth LAPZM.
