“Bridging the Digital Gap with Growing ICT Skills of Young People in Serbia” implementation process is starting. The main objective of the project is to provide the youth in Serbia with the opportunity to develop their ICT skills, by educating grammar school teachers and providing grammar schools with the access to materials and to the global system of Cisco academies; this should bridge the digital gap and contribute to better employment.
Cisco Networking, School of Electrical Engineering of the University of Belgrade academy, is in charge of the project implementation, and Cisco Systems is funding the project. The project is supported by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia and the American Chamber of Commerce in Serbia.
