Trag Foundation, in cooperation with the CRTA association and as part of the “Real Say on Policy” project, is issuing a call for civil society organizations for submitting project proposals related to analyses of public policies in the field of human rights and civic freedoms. The analyses should create the conditions for improving regulations and policies in various areas, in order for society to better respond to the needs of the citizens. The analyses and proposals of practical policies supported through the call should be created in a simple and clear way, in order to bring existing policies and regulations closed to other organization and citizens.
The “Real Say on Policy” project is being implemented by Trag Foundation in partnership with the CRTA association, the National Coalition for Decentralization (NCD) and the Slavko Ćuruvija Foundation, with financial support by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The call will support ideas related to public policy analyses in the following areas, where the citizens showed the most interest during elections:
- Making use of the right to work;
- The state – an incentive or obstacle to the development of entrepreneurship;
- Mechanisms for citizen participation in direct decision-making;
- Right to objective and timely information;
- Voting rights of citizens (active and passive);
- Right to a fair trial;
- Human and civil rights through constitutional reform.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is 11 July 2016 (4 PM).
