Hendi Centar Koloseum issued a call for the sixth Belgrade International Film Festival of Persons with Disabilities – BOSIFEST 2015, to be held between 1 and 3 June at Dom Omladine in Belgrade.
The call for works is open between 19 January and 5 April, and the slogan of this year’s festival is “Labyrinth of Possibilities”. The theme is the life and work of persons with disabilities.
BOSIFEST is a Belgrade international film festival engaged with the issue of persons with disabilities, the only one of its kind in South-East Europe. Films shown at BOSIFEST draw the attention of the public, mostly associations of persons with disabilities and the non-government sector across Serbia. Likewise, year after year, this cinematic event contributes to introducing the general public to the rights, status and needs of persons with disabilities, improving communication, accepting diversity, removing prejudice against persons with disabilities, while at the same time the cinematic programme acts as stimulation for the creation of new films and works of art.
