As part of the project “HUMAN RIGHTS PROMENE – HUMAN RIGHTS PROmotion in MEntal health Networks”, financed by the European Union and co-financed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia through the Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, Caritas Serbia is issuing a call for project proposals for civil society organizations.
The overall goal of the project is the promotion of respect for the human rights of persons with mental impairments and persons with disabilities and the development of their individual skills, as well as increasing the capacities of their organizations so that they would become defenders of human rights.
The call for project proposals is issued as an activity within the first objective: empowering associations of persons with mental impairments and persons with disabilities to become defenders of human rights, with particular focus on social and economic rights.
The goal of issuing the call for project proposals is to support initiatives aimed at developing new or strengthening existing social enterprises, proposed and lead by organizations of persons with mental impairments or persons with disabilities, or organizations providing support to such persons, thereby contributing to the creation of opportunities to exercise the social and economic rights of these vulnerable groups.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is 8 April 2017.
