The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, as part of the project “We Are Here Together – European Support for Roma Inclusion” (IPA 2012), implemented by the Organization for European Security and Cooperation (OSCE), with the technical assistance of the Fund for Roma Education (FOR), published a competition for awarding scholarships to students of the Roma nationality attending the first or second grade of three and four-year secondary schools for the 2015/16 school year.
The text of the competition and all forms required for submitting applications are available at the website of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.
The competition is open from 15 September, and the deadline for applications is 15 October 2015.
The project “We Are Here Together – European Support for Roma Inclusion” provides support to institutions of the Republic of Serbia in improving the status of Roma in areas of access to the basic rights of civil participation, labour market, education, healthcare, social protection, adequate housing and creating sustainable workplaces through technical assistance in achieving the project proposal for social development of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. The project is financed by European Union funds, implemented by the OSCE Mission to Serbia in cooperation with the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
