The Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia and the Minister of State Administration and Local Government, Dr Kori Udovički invited all the interested parties to take part in consultations related to the draft Second National Report on Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction in the Republic of Serbia 2011-2014.
One of the key tasks in the process of EU accession, as defined by the Republic of Serbia, is active participation in the European social inclusion process. The process includes development and improvement of policies, institutional framework and methodology of monitoring social inclusion of individuals and social groups in the Republic of Serbia. The Second National Report on Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction in the Republic of Serbia was developed in view of this objective, and it includes an overview of legal and strategic framework in the relevant sectors, analysis of the current situation, overview of the measures and programmes implemented, conclusions and main directions of future actions. The preparation process included utilisation of various documents of the Republic of Serbia, relevant reports and documents of the European Union, as well as reports and analysis of civil society organisations, international organisations and independent experts.
