The Development Agency of Serbia (DAS) awarded contracts on 17 November for 116 beneficiaries of the Support programme for beginners to start a business – START UP, with a total value of RSD 80 million. This is one of six projects implemented by DAS during the Year of Entrepreneurship.
Through this project RAS is supporting the development of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs. They represent a key link in the development of future economies and a driver of economic growth. The project encompasses a number of financial and non-financial elements of support – education on starting and running a business, training for starting a business and developing a business plan, grants for financing the best business ideas and mentoring for companies undergoing early phases of development.
