The “New Technologies in Education 2015” conference will be held in Belexpocenter and Holiday Inn hotel in Belgrade on 27 and 28 February 2015. The aim of the conference is improving the quality of education in the Republic of Serbia by raising awareness on the importance of using information-communication technologies in the education system, providing opportunities for professional development of teaching and other school staff, decision makers and other stakeholders in the educational system.
We hereby invite teachers and professional associates working in schools and faculties across Serbia and the region to register their participation as speakers at the conference, i.e. to present an example of good practice. We likewise invite companies, publishers, decision makers and experts to apply as speakers. We want to hear your opinions and suggestions on the method and perspective of speaking about the proposed subjects. We are seeking examples from your classroom, school, faculty or other institution you work in.
The following areas will be covered during this two-day event:
- Examples of good practice in the use of ICT in primary and secondary schools
- Examples of good practice in the use of ICT in higher education
- Inclusive education with ICT support
The conference is jointly organized by the British Council, the UK Embassy in Belgrade, the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Union of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia and other partners.
