On December 21, Tatjana Matić, State Secretary of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of the Republic of Serbia formally awarded diplomas to the authors of winning papers chosen at the competition for elementary school teachers entitled“Digital Class”, for the 2015/2016 academic year.
The competition awarded 17 papers from each group of subjects: 1) mathematics, computer science and technical education; 2) social sciences, art and sport; 3) natural sciences. Mrs Matić presented diplomas to 51 authors.
The goal of the competition is to encourage the use of information technologies as teaching tools and/or the use of information technologies applicable to teaching and at the same time compatible with the tasks and objectives of the class. Teachers who participated in the competition presented their ideas for modernisation of teaching methods, as well as how using modern technologies can bring students closer to the educational materials.
