As of January next year the citizens of Serbia will not have to visit numerous counters to, for example, report the birth of a child and provide other documentation, because through the assistance of the eGovernment portal they will be able to obtain around fifty documents through one paper, announced Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Kori Udovički.
This is part of the project “Baby, Welcome to the World”, saving parents a visit to around twenty counters at the time of the child’s birth, in order to make the child a citizen, said Udovički at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and explained that this will provide for entry into the registry of births, residence, etc.
She stated that in the first phase all legal and technical conditions will be ready in January of next year, and around twenty documents will be reduced to one, with another thirty by the end of the year.
