Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

The VIRTUS award was established in 2007, as the first and most important award for corporate philanthropy in Serbia, promoting corporate social responsibility as an integral part of the sustainable development of companies. It is intended both for large companies, as well as small and medium enterprises and individuals who, during 2013/14, contributed in the most effective way to the general good by providing material or other types of support to non-profit actions or civil society organizations.

The VIRTUS award for 2014 will be awarded in five main categories:

• Main award for company contributions at the national level,
• Award for contributions to the local community the company operates in,
• Award for small and medium enterprises,
• Award for long-term partnership between the corporate and non-profit sector,
• Award for individual contribution to philanthropy.

Candidates for the award in all areas may be proposed by all interested citizens, individuals, non-profit organizations, media, PR and marketing agencies, as well as companies and enterprises with programmes in the field of corporate philanthropy.

The award ceremony will be held in Belgrade, in late March 2015. An independent jury will decide on the winners, comprised of reputable individuals and experts from the world of business, civil sector, media and marketing.
