A total of 34 films from 22 countries from around the world will be shown at this year’s 16th International Film Festival “Seize this Day with me / Seize the Film”. The Festival will be held from 24 until 30 September at the Cultural Centre in Novi Sad. A jury of experts worked hard to select the best films from 636 that were submitted. These selected films will be shown during the competition part of the Seize the Film festival, from 27 until 30 September.
The Seize the Film festival is organised throughout the region with a unique goal of informing the public about the life, activities, rights and achievements of people with disabilities, which influences changes in people’s attitudes towards people with disabilities, and contributes to the better understanding and acceptance of diversity, thus creating conditions for greater visibility and inclusion of persons with disabilities in all spheres of social life.
This year’s Festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia, Provincial Secretariat for Culture, Public Information and Relations with Religious Communities, and ERSTE Bank.
