It is our pleasure to inform you that the First National Report on Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction in the Republic of Serbia 2008-2010 was adopted on March 17, 2011 at the Government session.
First National Report on Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction in the Republic of Serbia 2008-2010 covers: an overview of the legal, strategic and institutional frameworks relevant to social inclusion and poverty reduction, an analysis of the current status in relevant fields, an overview of realized measures, conclusions and challenges, as well as lines of action in the forthcoming period.
The preparation of the Report represents a joint activity of line ministries and other authorities, National Assembly, local governments, civil society organizations, international partners, scientific and research institutions, social partners and expert community.
Striving to enable all stakeholders to contribute to the preparation of the Report, the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit conducted comprehensive consultations to achieve a national consensus on the main findings and priority fields of action in the next period. We would like to thank all partners who contributed to the development of the Report.
We are inviting you to apply the recommendations defined in the Report in your future work, and to continue informing us regularly on your activities in the field of social inclusion and poverty reduction.
