The first National Study on the Social Problem of Sexual Child Abuse in the Republic of Serbia was published, its owner, bearer and procurer being Incest Trauma Centre – Belgrade. The Study was implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia and the Centre for the Promotion of Women’s Health from Belgrade. The results of the National Study have been, in cooperation with the Women’s Parliamentarian Network, presented at the Serbian Parliament on 26 September 2015.

The first National Study is the baseline for drafting the first Strategy in Education for the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children in the Republic of Serbia.

Activities regarding the drafting of the first National Study on the Social Problem of Sexual Child Abuse and the Strategy in Education for the Prevention of Sexual Abuse of Children in the Republic of Serbia have been implemented with the financial support of the European Union, through the Programme of Support to Civil Society from 2013.
