Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia and Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure, Zorana Mihajlović and Head of the OSCE Mission in Serbia, Peter Burkhard determined on January 25 that the Government and the local institutions had been working on adopting efficient instruments in order to improve the life of Roma population in Serbia.

At the joint press conference with Mr Burkhard, Mrs Mihajlović announced that the Government would be discussing the Roma Inclusion Strategy and the Law on Gender Equality in seven days.

According to her, the said Strategy had already received the opinion of the European Commission and that it would be available for the session after the Ministries had given their opinion about this document.

She added that the Law on Gender Equality had passed the public discussion and received the opinion from the European Commission, non-government organisations and independent institutions.
