On 28 March, the Government of Serbia accepted the amendments to the Government Rules of Procedure pertaining to detailed rules on public review in the process of law making. In addition to the old provision, according to which the public review process is required in the development of a law that introduces material changes to the provisions governing a specific matter or regulates a matter of particular interest to the public, now the public review process can also be carried out in the process of preparing a development strategy, regulation or decision.
