The Minister of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Zoran Đorđević and the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland in Serbia Pertti Ikonen, announced on 31 July that the bilateral relations between the two countries will be raised to a higher level in areas under the competence of the line ministry.
Likewise, there was talk of the options to exchange experiences and positive practice examples in the operation of agencies for the amicable resolution of labour disputes, as well as presentations of the Finnish model with the aim of raising institutional capacities for assistance to caregivers and adopters of children with special needs.
Đorđević, presenting the plans of the line ministry for the coming period, elaborated that the priority will be establishing financial control and improving the normative-legal framework with the aim of establishing a functional system.
