On July 31 in Prilep, State Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veterans’ and Social Affairs of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Nenad Nerić visited the Reception Center in Adaševci, remodeled as a part of the “System of permanent aid delivery to the migrant population in Serbia,” a project funded by the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB).
On this occasion, Nerić pointed out the importance of the support that this financial institution has been providing to Serbia since 2015, through direct grants of over three million euros for solving the problems and challenges of the migrant crisis.
As he noted, the line ministry directed the donations to activities aimed at improving the conditions for the reception of migrants and their care, as well as to improving the capacities of institutions that work with migrants.
The project received support in the total amount of 755,000 euros, and 111,060 euros have been allocated for the remodeling of a part of the Reception Center.
