The interactive “Accessibility Map” provides persons with disabilities and other citizens with relevant information on the accessibility of locations in Serbia. The data for the Map was collected by citizens, civil society organizations, local self-government units, state bodies and other public administration bodies.
In addition to representing a basis for constant monitoring of the situation in this field, the Accessibility Map also promotes good practice examples. Therefore, the Accessibility Audit Association invites citizens and all interested organizations and institutions to continue submitting data in order to fill in the Map. Data on the accessibility of public facilities and public areas was received from local self-government units, state bodies and other public authorities, in cooperation with the Ombudsman and with the financial support of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway through the project “Promotion of Human and Minority Rights through the More Intensive Contact of the Ombudsman with Citizens”.
The Map is the project of the Accessibility Audit Association started in 2011, constantly updated visually, functionally and with new content – through internal and donor funds.
