The Creative Educational Center KEC and the McDonald’s company celebrated 10 years of successful cooperation on the project “Integration of People with Development Difficulties in the Social Environment” and 10 years of the implementation of the programme of work engagement and employment of people with development difficulties on the open labour market, on 9 December 2014 in the Bezistan restaurant. People with development difficulties, representatives of the governmental, non-governmental and business sectors addressed the media during a conference regarding “Social Inclusion and Rights of Persons with Disabilities”.

The implementation of the programme of work engagement and employment of persons with development difficulties on the open labour market, providing for people with development difficulties to realize their human right to employment and active community life started in 2004. Thus far, approximately 160 persons with development difficulties passed through the programme, engaged or employed in over 30 companies and institutions across Belgrade.
