The National Youth Council of Serbia (KOMS) is inviting its member organisations (full and associate) to participate in the capacity building programme implemented within the “Youth in Focus” project supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia.
The aim of this capacity building programme is to strengthen KOMS membership organisations and to enable them to influence the development of youth policies. The programme includes three training modules created in such a way that they contain specific thematic areas; therefore, the member organisation can select one or more modules which correspond to their needs, while KOMS recommends that they complete the entire training programme.
- Module I: Fundraising in the local community
- Module II: Youth policy on the local and national level
- Module III: Public policies and advocacy processes
The training will enable participants to contribute to the development of higher quality of public policies that would be based on knowledge, facts and real needs of young people, as well as to successfully advocate for resolving issues they recognise in their communities while working on finding ways to overcome them.
Deadline for application is 24 September 2017, until 23.59.
