The new Law on Consumer Protection came into effect on 22 September. The new legal solutions provide for a stronger and more efficient protecton of consumers, primarily when exercising the consumer rights from sales contracts.
The Law defines deadlines for complaints, reteurn of money to consumers in case of failure to fulfill obligations within the prescribed deadline, remote purchase, possibility of the consumer changing his mind and returning the goods, special protection for the vulnerable and wider authority for inspections.
