On Monday, 1 December 2014 in Belgrade, the Office for Human and Minority Rights of the Government of the Republic of Serbia organized the introductory workshop marking the start of the “Internship Programme for Youth – Members of Minorities in Public Institutions in Serbia.”
At the start of the workshop, representatives of the project team expressed their welcome to the interns and expressed gratitude to the UK Embassy, providing financial support to the implementation of this year’s cycle of the internship programme, along with the Office for Human and Minority Rights as the bearer of the project, and all institutions participating in its implementation.
The introductory workshop was an occasion for mentors to speak to the young interns they will cooperate with during the following six months, as well as for the interns to be introduced to the work of the public administration, the code of conduct and teamwork. Young members of the Albanian, Bosniak and Roma national minorities will be interns at the Office for Human and Minority Rights, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Culture and Information, Ministry of Health, Office for Cooperation with Civil Society, Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit and the Coordination Body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia for the Municipalities Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa.
