In 2018, the Embassy of France and the French Institute in Serbia want to support young male and female scientists from Serbia, who work in the field of gender equality and gender studies.
Five short-term grants will be awarded to Serbian researchers both male and female, or experts in this field, for a short-term stay in gender research team or expert group in France.
The short-term stay is planned to take place between 25 September and 31 December 2018. The grant will cover the cost of the stay, accommodation and insurance. Travel costs will be covered by grantees themselves.
Target group: both male and female researchers, working in a research team in Serbia (assistants, PhD and postdoctoral candidates, researchers, lecturers, medical doctors …), experts or NGO representatives fighting against gender inequality in all areas, and investigative journalists dealing with this topic.
Research areas: Gender studies in all domains, gender inequality, multidisciplinary study areas that combine parts of humanities and social sciences, history, sociology, geography, anthropology, economics, law, political science, including neuro and biosciences.
The deadline for applications is 6 September 2018.
