The Faculty of Occupational Safety in Niš hosted the closing activities of the project “Practical Academy – Niš”. At the event held on 24 May, students presented the knowledge they gained during practical education through the project, and specific plans and documents in the field of occupational safety and fire safety, developed for eight small and medium-sized enterprises from the territory of the City of Niš. Their audience consisted of the faculty management, mentors and businesspeople that participated in the practical education, as well as students interested in getting involved with the programme.
Satisfied with the presentation of student results and works, the Dean of the Faculty of Occupational Safety in Niš Prof. Dr Momir Prašćević awarded 30 certificates on completed practical education to hard-working students, and expressed his gratitude to the businesses.
The businesspeople are satisfied with the results of the practical education, best shown by their interest in further improvements to the cooperation with the Faculty of Occupational Safety, and other faculties.
The project “Practical Academy – Niš” was supported by the Office for Local Economic Development and Projects of the City of Niš, as part of the Plan of Local Economic Development of the city for 2018, under the section of improving cooperation between the academic and business sector.
