The Office of the Minister without Portfolio in charge of European Integration, with the support from the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit (SIPRU), has launched the preparation of the Second National Report on Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction in the Republic of Serbia. The Report is important from the viewpoint of monitoring social inclusion in the Republic of Serbia and is integral to the process of regular reporting of the Government to the public and the European Commission.Furthermore, the report will serve as a foundation for drafting the programme of reforms in the field of employment and social policy (Employment and Social Reform Programme – ESRP), which will be prepared by the Republic of Serbia at the request of the European Commission. The report will cover the period 2011-2013 and will provide insight into trends and current situation, as well as basic guidelines for resolving social inclusion and poverty issues.
The preparation process will involve active participation and contribution by relevant stakeholders in order to outline the current situation and reach consensus on the priorities and measures in the next period. The process will involve joint efforts of line ministries and institutions, National Assembly, local governments, civil society organizations, international partners, academic institutions and think-tanks, social partners and expert community.

Relevant data will be considered those quantitative data obtained through a representative sample with a distinct methodology and data sources. In case of qualitative data please define the source and the time and geographical aspects of survey.
