“Net Patrol”, a mobile application for reporting illegal pornographic content, produced as part of the programme “Capacity Development for Combating Online Violence, Abuse and Misuse of Children”, with the financial support of the Government of United Kingdom, and in cooperation of the Foundation “Fond B92”, Net Patrol and UNICEF, will be promoted on 4 and 5 June in Belgrade. The “Net Patrol” promotion aims to raise awareness on safer use of digital media among children, youth, parents and other citizens, along with the prevention of digital violence.
“Net Patrol” is an electronic mechanism for the submission and processing of reports on illegal online materials. Illegal materials contain psychological, physical and sexual abuse of underage persons: if you encounter such materials, report them to Net Patrol, to be rapidly removed from the internet through national and international cooperation with other organizations and institutions.
The “Net Patrol” application can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play store, while more technical information is available at the website netpatrola.rs.
