The Embassy of France in Serbia and the French Institute in Serbia are continuing their dedication to promoting equality and are publishing a call for projects: “Combating Discrimination for Gender Equality”.
The goal of the call is providing support to civil society stakeholders in Serbia (associations, think tanks) in projects intended to raise the awareness of the population, particularly youth (under 30 years of age), organize trainings and raise the capacities of local stakeholders, particularly in preparing projects in the following fields:
- Equality of women and men (combating gender-based violence, sexual stereotypes, economic empowerment of women, particularly in rural areas, informational campaigns…),
- Combating discrimination (primarily discrimination against persons living with HIV, discrimination of members of the LGBTI population and/or disabled persons, without excluding a particular group).
Subject matter of the project:
- Activities intended for raising awareness and promoting information on one of the above topics;
- Activities regarding trainings/evaluations and raising the capacities of local stakeholders regarding one of the above topics;
- Projects valorising one of the identified subjects: video recordings, calls, visits at the local level, posters.
