The National Youth Council of Serbia (KOMS) published a document called “Minimum Standards for Youth Participation in Decision-making Processes in Local Communities”.
The publication is intended for everyone working on the development of local communities, as well as for young people and everyone working with young people. It is designed for decision-makers from cities and municipalities, institutions, civil society organisations, youth associations, and others as a reminder that responsible youth care implies that the voice of young people in democratic processes should be heard and accepted. It is necessary to involve young people in all decision-making processes at the local level, and especially in planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of youth policy.
