The national representative of Serbia, the project of the City of Novi Sad “Linden Honey for the Sustainable Development of the Danube Microregion”, won an award at the European Commission competition for the best idea in the field of entrepreneurship promotion (EEPA) under the category “Support for the Development of Green Markets and Resource Efficiency”.
The European Enterprise Promotion Awards (EEPA) competition is an initiative by the European Commission aimed at recognizing and rewarding exceptional examples of support and promotion of entrepreneurship across Europe. This year, 31 countries proposed 57 projects for the EEPA award.
In addition to the Novi Sad project “Linden Honey for the Sustainable Development of the Danube Microregion”, Serbia had another representative this year, the project “I Know We Can” by the non-government organization SEE ICT, also achieving significant success by being shortlisted for the EEPA prize.
