The Economic Institute from Belgrade presented the results and recommendations of the survey “Analysis of the regulatory framework of entrepreneurship of the three most prospective business activities, with proposals to simplify doing business for young entrepreneurs” on Friday, 21 October 2016. The survey was implemented upon request by the Ministry of Youth and Sports as part of the PERFORM project, with the financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and the Social Inclusion and Poverty Reduction Unit of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The main goal of the survey was to analyse the conditions for youth in Serbia engaging in entrepreneurship and provide an evidence-based basis for creating public policy and regulatory intervention, in order to create more favourable conditions for the development of youth entrepreneurship and reduce youth unemployment. A special emphasis was placed on three activities estimated to have a significant growth potential and be accessible to young people: information-communication technologies, creative industries and agricultural services.
