Tim za socijalno uključivanje i smanjenje siromaštva

The Statistical Institute of the Republic of Serbia implemented the survey “School to Work Transition Survey” (SWTS) implemented during the first half of 2015, with the support of the International Labour Organization.

The goal of the survey was to shed light on the road of “transition” of youth from completing school to finding their first relatively permanent and secure employment, the duration of this transition, as well as details such as satisfaction of young people with their work, the conditions of work, with the harmonization of qualifications acquired through education with the requirements of the work they are doing, the amount of average salary, as well as difficulties encountered in seeking employment, in case they are unemployed, and the causes for the high inactivity rate for youth on the labour market.
