In order to improve inclusive practices in Serbia, the Support Network for Inclusive Education, UNICEF, and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia invited interested teachers, educators, school principals and professional associates in education to submit their examples of good practice that demonstrate how educational institutions have supported children from vulnerable groups and encouraged their inclusion in regular education and community life.
Examples of good practice refer to initiatives, ideas, activities, and actions which introduce innovation and encourage the process of successful inclusion of children and students from vulnerable groups into regular education. Examples of good practice in inclusive education come from different areas of school life starting with the way schools operate, the way they are organised and managed, through the process of teaching, grading and self-evaluation, school curricula and textbooks, down to the entire school climate, interpersonal relationships and relationships with the local community.
The deadline for submission of applications is 20 July 2018.
The call for examples of good practice is being realised as part of the project – “Improving Education in Serbia through Strengthening of Competences of the Support Network for Inclusive Education and other Employees in Education for Inclusive Education” implemented by the Support Network for Inclusive Education in cooperation with the group “MOST”, and in partnership with UNICEF and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, with the financial support from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
